About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment safely and effectively to reduce downtime. The fleet varies by location and primarily includes aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and equipment. Specialty-line locations may include large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil and gas-related equipment. The role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of equipment and develop skills for a career track in service or operations management, within a safety-focused team environment. The position may require providing tools of the trade. Physical demands include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting.
Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The physical ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 50 pounds or more, and to work indoors or outdoors as required.

Nice To Haves

Some trade school or equivalent training is desired.
Five or more years of technician experience with similar diesel or heavy equipment, or specialty-line equipment such as large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil and gas equipment, is strongly preferred.
May need to provide tools of the trade.
