About The Position

The Technician, Parts Division is responsible for safely and efficiently performing industrial shop labor, including high-pressure water blasting, sandblasting, carbon arc work, and plasma cutting. This is a full-time, permanent position with a full benefits package. Employees must use and maintain personal protective equipment, monitor job sites for hazards, and help maintain a safe working environment. Uniforms and all PPE are provided. The work may involve extended periods of standing, walking, or crouching, using hand tools, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Other duties may be assigned by the site superintendent or management.

Requirements

• Previous experience working around heavy equipment.
• Experience with high-pressure water blasting and sandblasting.
• Ability to properly wear, use, and maintain personal protective equipment.
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and criminal background screening.
• Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-pressure water blasting and sandblasting.
• Perform carbon arc work and plasma cutting.
• Properly wear, use, and maintain personal protective equipment.
• Monitor the job site for hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the site superintendent or management.
