About The Position

Genesis of Littleton is seeking a Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles at its service center. The role is compensated based on flagged hours, with average compensation of $23–$48 per flat-rate hour and potential performance-based bonuses, overtime pay, and incentives. The technician will work with advanced tools and technology in a clean, modern, fully equipped facility and explain technical diagnoses and repairs to customers who may not have mechanical knowledge. Requirements

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
At least 3 years of main line technician experience.
Ability to drive and handle vehicles of various makes, models, and sizes.
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
Team-oriented, flexible approach and focus on maintaining a high level of customer service.
Working knowledge of shop equipment, including wheel and tire equipment, electrical systems, engine equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, and air-conditioning equipment.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices.
Tear down, repair, replace, or rebuild faulty assemblies, including power systems, steering systems, linkages, pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings.
Rewire ignition systems, lights, and instrument panels.
Repair manual and automatic transmissions.
Explain technical diagnoses and required repairs clearly to people without mechanical expertise.
