About The Position

At MasTec Advanced Technologies, Technicians install and maintain satellite dishes and receivers as part of home installation services delivered in collaboration with a leading partner in the satellite industry. The role includes building positive customer relationships, troubleshooting, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors at customer residences and commercial buildings, in accordance with safety guidelines and procedures. Technicians advise customers on appropriate solutions and products and may perform on-site sales. The role offers paid training, performance-based compensation, and a promotion path to Field Technician Supervisor and Site Manager.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license.
• Ability to climb ladders, including 28–36-foot ladders, and meet manufacturers’ safety requirements for equipment used.
• Ability to lift 60–80 pounds.
• Candidate’s body weight plus 25 pounds of tools and equipment must not exceed 375 pounds.
• Ability to work in environments without heating or air conditioning and indoors or outdoors regardless of weather.
• Ability to kneel, crawl, bend, or work in other potentially uncomfortable positions.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends or evenings.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures in a safety-sensitive role.
• Commitment to customer service, independent work, multitasking, and learning new technologies.
