Technician Support
About The Position
Cash Depot is an independent U.S. provider of retail cash management, consumer financial services, ATM solutions, and air/vac systems. The Technician Support role provides technical support to technicians and service customers by handling inquiries, attempting remote troubleshooting, coordinating work orders, and documenting service activity. The position is based at 1740 Cofrin Dr, Green Bay, Wisconsin, and pays $22.00 per hour. This is a full-time position in a professional office environment. The department is staffed 364 days a year, with coverage Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST and Saturday, Sunday, and holidays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CST. The specific schedule depends on the position being hired; typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional overtime required.
Requirements
- High school degree or GED.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, by phone, and by email.
- Ability to maintain technical competency for supported product lines.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized while handling several issues at once.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Attend training sessions as required.
- Handle incoming phone and email requests from customers and technicians about supported products.
- Attempt to resolve equipment problems remotely by phone or email with technicians and customers.
- Create service work orders for problems that cannot be resolved remotely or when requested by customers.
- Review open work orders for alternative resolutions or escalation.
- Recommend additional steps for technicians to take regarding recurring issues.
- Document customer and technician contacts so coworkers have current information about work-order status and site problems.
- Identify and report service problem trends to technical support team management.
- Suggest inventory additions and adjustments for technicians.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
