About The Position

Gaming Support Techs, also called Midway Techs, repair and maintain the building’s games, simulators, and technical equipment. They assist Guests and maintain ideal player conditions in the Midway. The role combines equipment maintenance with Guest service, merchandise and supply support, and general store upkeep. Technical and/or electrical skills are preferred but not required. Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to communicate clearly with Guests and other Team Members.
Must be friendly and able to smile while working.
Must be able to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
Must be able to work from an extension ladder.
Must be able to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions.
Must be able to move about the facility and stand for long periods.
Must be able to read and write handwritten notes.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

Deliver a positive Guest experience in an environment centered on food, drinks, and games.
Keep the immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters and take corrective action or suggest alternatives when appropriate.
Provide timely, accurate service; manage wait times and communicate information to Guests, Team Members, and Managers.
Greet Guests positively, assist with requests and questions, make recommendations, and invite departing Guests to return.
Repair and maintain amusement equipment in a timely manner.
Load and refill tickets in redemption games and secure ticket storage areas.
Notify a Manager when a Guest appears unhappy.
Stock, display, and secure merchandise; conduct merchandise inventory during and after shifts when applicable.
Check and restock supplies, bring areas up to standard, and discuss problem areas with a Manager.
Keep Midway games clean, organized, and unobstructed.
Position and set up displays to increase Guest traffic and promote sales.
Maintain and organize the tech room and storage areas.
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly game maintenance safely and efficiently as directed by management.
Assist with general store maintenance and support other Team Members as needed.
Promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment with other company Team Members.
