About The Position

Gaming Support Techs, also called Midway Techs, repair and maintain the facility’s games, simulators, and technical equipment. They assist Guests and help maintain ideal player conditions throughout the midway. The role combines equipment maintenance with Guest service, merchandise and supply upkeep, and general store maintenance. Team Members work in a cooperative environment and may work days, nights, and/or weekends as required. Technical and/or electrical skills are preferred but not required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Deliver a positive Guest experience and communicate service information to Guests, Team Members, and Managers.
Keep the immediate supervisor informed about significant problems or unusual matters and take corrective action or suggest alternatives.
Greet and assist Guests, answer questions, make recommendations, and address requests.
Repair and maintain amusement equipment in a timely manner.
Load and refill tickets in redemption games and secure ticket storage areas.
Follow up with departing Guests about their experience, invite them to return, and notify a Manager about Guests who appear unhappy.
Stock, display, and secure merchandise; conduct merchandise inventory during and after shifts when applicable.
Check and restock supplies, bring work areas up to standard, and discuss problem areas with a Manager.
Keep midway games clean, organized, and unobstructed.
Position and set up displays to increase Guest traffic and promote sales.
Maintain and organize the tech room and storage areas.
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly game maintenance as directed by management, safely and efficiently.
Assist with general store maintenance and support other Team Members as needed.
Maintain cooperative and harmonious working relationships with other Team Members.
