About The Position

Dave & Buster’s Support Technicians, also referred to as Gaming Support Techs or Midway Techs, repair and maintain the building’s games, simulators, and technical equipment. They assist Guests and maintain ideal player conditions in the Midway while supporting a fun, welcoming environment. The role includes equipment maintenance, stocking and securing merchandise, maintaining game and storage areas, and helping with general store upkeep. Team Members work days, nights, and/or weekends as required in a noisy, fast-paced environment. Technical and/or electrical skills are preferred but not required. The stated salary range is 16–19.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must clearly communicate with Guests and other Team Members.
Must be friendly and able to smile frequently while working days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
Must be able to work off an extension ladder.
Must be able to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions.
Must be able to move about the facility and stand for long periods.
Must be able to read and write handwritten notes.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Technical and/or electrical skills are preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain amusement equipment in a timely manner.
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly game maintenance as directed by management.
Assist Guests with requests and questions, make recommendations, and provide timely service while communicating wait times and other information.
Greet Guests warmly, ensure they are satisfied, invite them to return, and notify a Manager if a Guest appears unhappy.
Load and refill tickets in redemption games, securing ticket storage areas.
Stock, display, and secure merchandise; conduct merchandise inventory during and after shifts when applicable; and check that necessary supplies are restocked.
Review the cleanliness and organization of Midway games and ensure games are clean and unobstructed.
Position and set up displays to increase Guest traffic and promote sales.
Maintain and organize the tech room and storage areas, and assist with general store maintenance as directed.
Keep the immediate supervisor informed about significant problems or unusual matters, take corrective action when needed, and discuss problem areas with a Manager.
Assist other Team Members and foster a cooperative, harmonious working environment.
