About The Position

The purpose of this job is to repair musical instruments in a timely and proficient manner so that each instrument is returned in good playing order. A technician may specialize in one type of instrument or work on multiple types.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Apprenticeship or diploma from an accredited repair school.
• Two years of relevant work experience working on musical instruments daily.
• Skilled understanding and function of band musical instruments, with the ability to repair them in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Work on returned rental instruments efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Repair each instrument according to established quality guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records for production reporting.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
