About The Position

The Technician, Repair Shop repairs musical instruments in a timely and proficient manner so they can be returned in good playing order. Technicians may specialize in one type of instrument or work on multiple types. The role primarily handles rental-returned instruments and follows established quality guidelines, while maintaining accurate production records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Apprenticeship or a diploma from an accredited repair school.
• Two years of relevant work experience working on musical instruments daily.
• Skilled understanding of band musical instruments and the ability to repair them in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Work on rental-returned instruments efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Repair each instrument according to established quality guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records for production reporting.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
