About The Position

Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost. We are growing and looking to hire our first internal help desk professional to support our expanding Cameron, LA office.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience as a help desk support technician in a macOS environment
  • High school degree
  • Excellent prioritization skills and ability to make decisions quickly
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Success in team environments, demonstrating shared responsibility and accountability with other team members
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative
  • Comprehensive understanding of operating systems, including macOS and Windows

Nice To Haves

  • Ideally, you have been a Genius at an Apple Store!
  • additional certification in Apple products and devices preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide insightful advice and friendly, hands-on technical support to VG employees
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues and offer solutions to get employees up and running again
  • Triage requests accordingly to our 3rd party IT provider
  • Teach and train employees on new applications or hardware as requested
  • Provide support for on-boarding and off-boarding new and departing employees
