About The Position

The Technician, Foundry works in a foundry environment handling molten metal and supporting casting operations. The role includes maintaining consistent metal flow to the casting table, plugging and unplugging the melting furnace, assisting with pre- and post-cast operations, and loading and unloading metal logs from equipment. The technician is expected to follow company safety rules, work instructions, and procedures.

The position is scheduled Sunday through Friday, from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The stated pay range is $20.00–$21.17 per hour, with a $3.00-per-hour foundry premium. Base pay is determined based on factors including geographic location, skills, education, and experience.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
• High school diploma.
• Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as needed.
• Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, challenging work environment.
• At least 1 year of forklift-driving experience.
• Ability to carry 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 70 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Metal casting, metal manufacturing, or foundry experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
