About The Position

This position is responsible for molten metal pouring operations and subsequent melting operations to remove castings from the trees. The work includes loading preheat furnaces and operating shell knock-off equipment, such as shot blast equipment and cut-off saws, as well as gate-removal equipment, various blasting machines, mass-finishing equipment, and solution-anneal furnaces. The position requires working while standing 95% of the time and working in a high-temperature environment. The scheduled shift is 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., and travel is 5% or less. New hires are eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus after completing 90 days of employment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least six months of experience in foundry operations, including handling and processing molten metal and performing basic support functions.
• Ability to read precision measuring equipment.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to accurately record data using computer and written skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to read, interpret, and maintain ZWIs, SOPs, ZESs, and QCPs.
• Ability to work in a high-temperature environment.
