About The Position

SunStrong Management is seeking an independent service technician to complete standard solar service work safely and efficiently. The role involves performing service tasks independently, documenting completed work accurately, and maintaining safety and professionalism on site. Work includes driving and working outdoors on roofs at various pitches and heights.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of solar or relevant field experience.
• Roof-ready and comfortable working at heights.
• Valid driver’s license, subject to a driver record check.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to work independently on standard service calls.
• Roof competence.

Responsibilities

• Perform solar service work independently, including panel swaps, string and micro inverter swaps, disconnect/reconnect work, and troubleshooting and resolving non-communications issues.
• Complete accurate job documentation, including JCOs, photos, and notes.
• Maintain safety and professionalism on site.
