About The Position

SunStrong Management is seeking an independent service technician to complete standard solar service work safely and efficiently. The role performs solar operations and maintenance service work, including panel and inverter replacements, disconnect/reconnect work, and troubleshooting non-communications issues. The technician must complete accurate job documentation and maintain safety and professionalism on site. The work requires driving, outdoor work, and roof work at varying roof pitches and heights.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of solar or relevant field experience.
• Roof-ready and comfortable working at heights.
• Valid driver’s license, subject to driver record check.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to work independently on standard service calls.
• Roof competency.

Responsibilities

• Perform solar service work independently, including panel swaps.
• Perform string and micro inverter swaps.
• Perform disconnect/reconnect (D/R) work.
• Troubleshoot and resolve non-communications issues.
• Complete accurate job documentation, including JCOs, photos, and notes.
• Maintain safety and professionalism on site.
