About The Position

SunStrong Management is seeking a Technician 3 to diagnose and troubleshoot solar systems and lead field crews performing service work. The role involves addressing inverter failures, system underperformance, and complex technical issues, while supporting other technicians and ensuring quality work and first-pass resolution. The position requires outdoor roof work and driving.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of solar experience.
• Proven troubleshooting capability.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Valid driver's license, subject to a driver record check.
• Crew-lead experience for solar service work.
• Roof and electrical competence.
• Expertise in solar diagnostics and repair.
• Authorization to perform battery (ESS) work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve inverter failures, system underperformance, and other complex solar system issues.
• Lead crews on solar service jobs.
• Direct and support Technician 1 and Technician 2 team members.
• Ensure high-quality work and first-pass resolution.
