About The Position

SunStrong Management is seeking an independent service technician to complete standard solar service work safely and efficiently. The role involves solar equipment service and troubleshooting, accurate job documentation, and maintaining safety and professionalism on site. Driving and roof work at varying roof pitches are required. The technician must be able to work outdoors and lift 50 pounds.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of solar or relevant field experience.
• Roof-ready and comfortable working at heights.
• Valid driver’s license, subject to a driver record check.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to work independently on standard service calls.
• Roof competency.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard solar service work independently, including panel swaps.
• Perform string and micro inverter swaps.
• Complete disconnect/reconnect (D/R) work.
• Troubleshoot and resolve non-communications issues.
• Complete accurate job documentation, including JCOs, photos, and notes.
• Maintain safety and professionalism on site.
