About The Position

The Senior Specialist, Technical Trainer / Mission Operations Trainer configures, integrates, tests, troubleshoots, and maintains complex communications systems while developing and delivering technical training to end users. The position bridges engineering development and operational readiness, involving hands-on work with hardware and software platforms, loading custom and commercial applications, validating system functionality, implementing upgrades, and ensuring integrated systems operate as intended.

The trainer delivers classroom instruction, demonstrations, and practical hands-on training so users can understand complex technical systems and apply their knowledge in real-world operational environments. The role also collaborates with engineering and design teams, incorporates system updates into training materials, troubleshoots technical problems, and maintains training system readiness. An active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required and must be maintained. Occasional travel for training and system integration is expected. The position is located in Palm Bay, Florida, and follows a 9/80 schedule: 80 hours over nine working days, with every other Friday off.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience; or a graduate degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience; or at least 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph and the ability to maintain the required clearance.
• Experience configuring, integrating, testing, or troubleshooting complex hardware and software systems.
• Ability to develop and deliver technical training, demonstrations, and hands-on instruction.
• Ability to understand technical documentation and explain complex systems to different audiences.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet-based data management.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for training and system integration.
