About The Position

Vertiv is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Technical Trainer to deliver hands-on training and learning experiences for new and existing team members across its manufacturing operations. The role supports skill development, workplace safety, and team readiness to meet production goals. The position involves training on the production floor as well as in classroom or meeting settings. The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principles and Behaviors to help execute its Strategic Priorities.

Requirements

Experience delivering technical or skills-based training in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to engage diverse learning styles.
Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety practices, and equipment operation.
Ability to create clear, user-friendly training materials and instructional guides.
Comfort using technology, including learning management systems (LMS) or training tracking tools.
Commitment to safety, learning, and team development.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not provided.

Responsibilities

Facilitate hands-on technical training in equipment operation, safety, quality, and standard work procedures.
Lead new-hire orientation and initial skills training for manufacturing roles.
Create, revise, and maintain training materials, standard operating procedures, and visual aids.
Evaluate learner performance through practical assessments and provide constructive feedback.
Partner with supervisors, team leads, and subject matter experts to identify skill gaps and implement targeted training.
Maintain accurate training records, track progress, and support audits or compliance reviews.
Gather feedback, monitor training program effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
