About The Position

Kinetic IT is looking for an infrastructure technical Team Leader to support a team of 20 technically diverse individuals who cover Networks, back up Storage, Linux, Azure etc. This position will be working onsite in East Perth. Working onsite you will support the Operations Manager and the other Team Leader in managing the team from a day to day perspective as well as having the technical expertise to support the team with enhancements and technical projects/BAU activities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and allocate team workload, including calls, tickets, and customer tasks, to meet service levels.
  • Participate in technical meetings with the customers in order to provide feedback to crew on the technical requirements of the customer
  • Drive enhancement with the team (sprint cycles)
  • Have some input in the technology roadmap and its use
  • Support team capacity management and provide operational guidance where needed.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews on completed work and provide coaching/support.
  • Act as an escalation point for customers and assist with issue resolution and client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to people management activities
  • Collaborate with other teams and leaders to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with company, customer, safety, and security policies and standards.
  • Support operational resourcing and scheduling activities, including after-hours rosters, patching, and DR testing.
  • Assist with project resource planning and delivery to maintain operational and project balance.
  • Review change records and communications to ensure quality and stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinate technical resources and customer communications during major incidents.
  • Support vendor engagement and escalation management where required.
