About The Position

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will help maintain and operate a network of simulators and modeling capabilities that provide rehearsal and exercise capabilities for various units. The simulators are located throughout the country. The engineering team manages the network, maintains an Authority to Operate (ATO), improves system design and architecture, provides Tier 1–3 troubleshooting during operations, installs hardware, manages system lifecycles, deploys software releases, develops new features, and supports innovation. You will provide first-line technical support to warfighters as part of a team of engineers, technicians, and operational experts. During training events, you will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across local air and ground simulation systems and outstation systems, restore operations, and document and escalate complex issues to software and systems engineering teams.
