About The Position

The Technical Supervisor will oversee operations within the Coating Semi-Temp Lamination Department. This role involves conducting pre-shift meetings, managing the assembly process of finished products, and deploying personnel effectively on the production lines. The supervisor will provide guidance and leadership to associates, motivating them to achieve production goals, and must possess basic proficiency in every position on the line. Additional duties may be assigned as needed, and management reserves the right to reassign responsibilities at any time.

Requirements

Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers.
1 to 3 years manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods.
Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip)
Visual acuity including: NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. FAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision. COLOR VISION - Ability to identify and distinguish colors. FIELD OF VISION - Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of and familiarity manufacturing software.
FORKLIFT OPERATION (Certification Required) - Operates forklifts, as needed, to support Production.
Background and policy of company, Processing of produce, safety requirement, and any necessary knowledge.
Wearing of workshop personal protective equipment
Function of the emergency stop switch

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Conducting pre-shift meetings

Knowledge of shipping and receiving process
Communication with FGA planners and customers
Directing forklift drivers
Production work instruction knowledge
Knowledge of human resources and attendance system
Training new employees to follow work instructions
Daily confirmation of empty racks delivered
Monthly empty rack inventory
Monthly material inventory
Maintenance of material warehouse product
Knowledge of all FGA services
Knowledge of billing methods
Communications with FGA accounting
Organization of all shipping and receiving paperwork, invoices, employee information etc.
Other duties as assigned
