About The Position

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing production operations within the Lamination Department during the 2nd shift. Key areas of focus include ensuring production safety through proper PPE usage, maintaining product quality and productivity targets, conducting job observations to assess associate skills and identify issues, and providing training on equipment operation, quality standards, and process requirements. The supervisor will also be responsible for handling emergency situations such as 4M changes, equipment breakdowns, and production problems.

Requirements

• Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers
• 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Regularly required to stand for long periods. Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip)
• Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less.
• Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more.
• Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are
• Ability to identify and distinguish colors
• Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
• Knowledge of and familiarity manufacturing software
• FORKLIFT OPERATION (Certification Required)
• Operates forklifts, as needed, to support Production
• Knowledge of 5S and how it applies to specific work area
• Knowledge of equipment and electric appliance's mechanical structures and operating principles
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
