About The Position

This is a highly collaborative role that not only helps drive sales conversion but also strengthens long-term relationships with site owners and operators who value technical problem-solving and product availability. In this role, you’ll partner with Sales and Operations teams to understand customer requirements, review equipment and project specifications, and recommend technical solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing site infrastructure and electrical systems.

Requirements

  • 3-7+ years of experience supporting utility-scale renewable energy projects through an EPC, Operations and Maintenance (O&M), equipment distributor, manufacturer, or similar technical organization
  • Strong familiarity with utility-scale renewable energy equipment, including solar panels, inverters, BESS, transformers, and high-voltage electrical equipment
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple teams and with external stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, site visits, and industry events

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain Bluewater’s centralized equipment database, ensuring technical specifications, documentation, compatibility information, and inventory records remain accurate and up to date
  • Serve as Bluewater's primary technical resource by identifying direct replacements, equivalent products, and engineered substitute solutions for renewable energy equipment
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive library of product datasheets, manuals, certifications, technical drawings, and other supporting documentation
  • Support Procurement by validating equipment specifications, evaluating technical compatibility, and assisting with sourcing decisions
  • Coordinate with OEMs, manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and site owners to obtain technical documentation and resolve product-related questions
  • Manage and prioritize internal technical requests while tracking progress to ensure timely responses across Sales, Procurement, and Operations
  • Develop equipment compatibility matrices, cross-reference guides, and replacement recommendations for obsolete, discontinued, and legacy equipment
  • Provide technical support for customer proposals, complex repowering projects, and strategic sales opportunities
  • Train and support Sales and Procurement teams on equipment capabilities, technical differentiators, and product applications
