About The Position

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston is hiring a Technical Shop Floor Support representative for its Manufacturing Engineering department in Kinston, North Carolina. The position supports the production facility by assessing manufacturing non-conformities, implementing late production changes, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities. It responds to technical questions, explains work orders and drawings—particularly for aircraft mechanical items—and serves as a communication interface between production and the on-site back office for work-order adaptations. The role works with production, quality, logistics, engineering, and other internal and external stakeholders to support aircraft milestones and resolve technical issues. It involves guided decision-making with support from the relevant ME Front Line Manager and complex stakeholder coordination across the site, departments, divisions, and international teams. This is a fully onsite role at the Kinston facility, which manufactures advanced composite aerostructures for the Airbus A350 XWB. Travel is approximately 5% domestically and internationally, and the position may require work on first-, second-, or potentially third-shift schedules.
