About The Position

The Technical Services (TS) Program Manager is a full-time role reporting to the Director of TS. The position serves as a technical resource on water engineering topics, providing technical support and training and leading technical services projects from start to finish. The Program Manager manages scope, schedule, and budget across multiple concurrent engagements, balancing hands-on engineering support with relationship-building and identifying opportunities to grow GWC’s technical services work. The role supports water-sector partners—including NGOs, governments, and utilities—in designing, maintaining, and monitoring water systems, including Solar Powered Water Systems (SPWS). Depending on partner needs, work may involve utility performance, asset management, non-revenue water management, energy optimization, electromechanical design, remote monitoring, water quality, volumetric water benefit accounting (VWBA), and water resource management. The position also delivers online courses and in-person training, supports project monitoring and impact measurement, and develops partnerships and business opportunities. GWC describes its environment as fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative, with the flexibility and structure of an early-stage organization. The position is remote for candidates based in the US or Canada, or hybrid with optional office space for those located in Charleston, South Carolina. Travel is anticipated to include approximately four to six international trips of one or two weeks each per year and approximately two US-based domestic trips of one week each per year. GWC was founded on Biblical principles, and its values of love, excellence, and integrity are expected to guide all interactions.
