Technical Services Operations Administrator
About The Position
Vantor is seeking a Technical Services Operations Center Administrator (TSOC) to join their team in Longmont, Colorado. This role is responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting enterprise, factory, and platform services, and communicating incidents and operational status to stakeholders. The position involves 24/7 operations center monitoring and response, along with system administration duties such as initial troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues. The role requires close collaboration with Information Technology, the Mission Operations Center, Customer Service, and Software Development. To be eligible, candidates must be U.S. Citizens and possess an active U.S. Government security clearance. Certain roles may also be subject to U.S. export control laws.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen and possess an active Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Must hold an active Security+ certification or obtain one within the first six months of employment.
- Associate degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field; two years of relevant technical troubleshooting experience may substitute for the degree.
- Ability to work a weekly day or night shift that includes one weekend day. This position requires three to four 12-hour shifts per week.
- Ability to work the Back Half Night Shift: 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m., Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday night.

- Experience with networking, firewalls, routing, remote-site connectivity, and troubleshooting practices.
- Experience with Red Hat Linux, LDAP, and DNS.
- Experience with Active Directory.
- Experience with VMware and virtual servers.
- Experience with Kubernetes and AWS.
- Strong critical-thinking and troubleshooting skills, business acumen, customer-support skills, results orientation, and the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Monitor enterprise, factory, and platform systems and applications.
- Create and manage tickets and support incident resolution.
- Work directly with service owner teams to monitor and escalate events.
- Manage incidents and maintain alarm thresholds.
- Perform initial troubleshooting and assist with system administration activities.
- Communicate incidents, system status, and operational updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach.
