About The Position

Valmet is seeking a Technical Service Representative to join its North America Services team. The role provides hands-on technical support to customers across North America, helping maintain and optimize large-scale papermaking equipment. The representative works with mechanical equipment such as doctor assemblies and roll rebuilds, as well as other equipment and technologies. Hydraulic work may be involved for representatives with applicable knowledge.

The position combines on-site field service with remote troubleshooting. Travel to customer locations is required to perform inspections, diagnose issues, support repairs, assist with machine start-ups, and improve equipment performance and reliability. Requirements

• Mechanical troubleshooting experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Self-motivated, with a willingness to learn.
• Willingness to travel approximately 65–75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service hydraulic systems and industrial equipment.
