About The Position

The Technical Sales Specialist - Measure and Analyze for the Pulp, Paper, Wood and Fibre team plays a strategic role within the team by exerting a marked influence with industrial customers experiencing sometimes complex technical challenges. This role is a leading player in the sale of automation engineering products, services and solutions. The specialist's knowledge of automation brings essential value to the sales team through constant support during complex proposals. Operating in a highly competitive environment, expertise in process application and interest in advanced technologies will provide valuable solutions for professional users in industries. The role involves sales cycles that vary from 3 to 6 months, requiring a customer approach that inspires trust.

Requirements

  • Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree (mechanical, chemical)
  • Knowledge of the industrial process environment
  • Technical expertise in automation
  • Understand and be comfortable with sales cycles of 6-12 months
  • Communication skills, written and verbal, in French
  • English proficiency to serve clients in Atlantic Canada and interact with US suppliers

Nice To Haves

  • Written and verbal communication skills in English would be considered an asset
