About The Position

RFA Engineering is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Technical Recruiter to support the growth of our engineering teams across the US. This role will focus on identifying, attracting, interviewing and hiring top engineering and technical talent across a variety of industries and disciplines. This would be a hybrid position based out of our corporate offices in either Eden Prairie, MN or Dubuque, IA. As a Technical Recruiter you will focus on identifying, attracting, interviewing and hiring top engineering and technical talent across a variety of industries and disciplines. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys building relationships, understands technical roles, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with hiring managers, engineering leaders, and candidates while playing a key role in supporting company growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent recruiting experience
  • 2+ years of recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple open positions and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, and networking
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting for engineering, manufacturing, software, or technical positions
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools
  • Experience working in a staffing agency or technical recruiting environment
  • Understanding of engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, or systems engineering
  • Experience supporting campus recruiting or recruiting events

Responsibilities

  • Source, recruit, and screen engineering and technical candidates for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire opportunities
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle including sourcing, interviewing, scheduling, offer coordination, and onboarding support
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, technical skill requirements, and team culture
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines through LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, referrals, and direct outreach
  • Conduct phone screens and initial candidate evaluations
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within applicant tracking systems and internal databases
  • Develop and post job descriptions across recruiting platforms
  • Support recruiting events, career fairs, university outreach, and networking activities
  • Build strong relationships with candidates to ensure a positive recruiting experience
  • Assist with recruiting process improvements and talent acquisition strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams on workforce planning and staffing priorities
