Technical Recruiter

Assort Health•San Francisco, CA
•$115,000 - $140,000

About The Position

Assort Health is seeking a Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for engineering and Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) roles. The recruiter will manage searches from intake through close, partner directly with technical leadership, and help shape hiring as the company grows. This is a full-cycle role that includes offer negotiations, offer strategy, hiring strategy, and interview process design—not just sourcing. Initial hiring will focus on software engineering and FDE roles, with opportunities to recruit across a broader range of roles as engineering expands. The technical recruiting team is currently small, so the recruiter will help structure the growing organization and build processes, playbooks, and standards for hiring at scale.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience.
  • Experience hiring engineers.
  • Recent startup experience.
  • Clear interest in full-cycle recruiting, not just sourcing.
  • Comfort working with senior stakeholders and technical leaders.
  • Autonomy, drive, and self-motivation, with an appetite for building structure where little exists.

  • Source, screen, and move candidates through the recruiting process.
  • Lead offer strategy and negotiations, and close candidates.
  • Help shape hiring strategy, including workforce planning, role scoping, and sourcing approaches.
  • Expand recruiting into new roles and teams as engineering grows.
  • Work with the recruiting team, People Operations, and the technology organization, and help define how the technical recruiting organization operates as it scales.
