As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multidisciplinary projects from start to finish, working with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners. You will explain analyses and recommendations to executives and discuss technical tradeoffs with engineers. In this role, you will manage risk for the SPARC Portfolio (Strategic Policy, Assurance, Risk and Compliance), collaborating with risk coordinators to maintain accurate, actionable risk profiles for Google's global data center fleet. You will monitor and track risks, assess site-level risks, and connect risk assessments with controls. The work includes developing Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), generating risk reports, analyzing incidents, and using data to improve controls and anticipate disruptions. You will also make independent decisions, solve problems, maintain a risk information library, and contribute to continuous improvement of the risk management framework. You will manage risk registers, report to partners, create playbooks, communicate status, manage risk acceptance, use dashboards, and engage with global partners. The position is part of the Technical Infrastructure team, which develops and maintains data centers and Google platforms and keeps its networks running.
