About The Position

Robinhood is hiring a Technical Program Manager for its Brokerage organization. The Brokerage Technical Program Management team partners with senior engineers, engineering managers, product leaders, and Brokerage leadership on complex technical and execution challenges, working closely with design, customer experience, and operations teams. The team is continuing to shape its approach to planning, execution, launches, and AI-enabled workflows. The Technical Program Manager will own and drive cross-functional engineering programs from kickoff through launch. Program areas may change with company priorities, and the position offers early ownership, mentorship, and opportunities to improve TPM workflows with AI. The position is based in the New York, NY or Menlo Park, CA office and requires in-person attendance at least three days per week.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in technical program management or a similar role, driving complex cross-functional engineering programs.
  • Strong grasp of system design and ability to follow and contribute to engineering conversations; coding is not required.
  • Working familiarity with AWS and core infrastructure concepts.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, including concise narratives and executive-ready updates that translate complex technical work.
  • Strong ownership of outcomes and initiative to identify next steps, close gaps, and resolve blockers without waiting to be asked.
  • Proven record of running programs with minimal oversight and following through on commitments until problems are resolved.
  • Comfort stepping outside a narrowly defined scope when the program needs it.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to create structure and clarity across complex, multi-team programs without adding unnecessary process.
  • Curiosity and excitement about using AI as part of how you work.

Responsibilities

  • Drive execution across multiple cross-functional engineering teams, from kickoff through launch.
  • Own program plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies, and keep them visible to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with product, design, customer experience, operations, and engineering partners.
  • Write clear narratives, status updates, and communications for leadership and partner teams.
  • Identify gaps and unblock work so programs keep moving with minimal oversight.
  • Help shape how the Brokerage TPM team plans, executes, and launches, including use of AI to improve planning, dependency management, risk detection, launch readiness, and reporting.

  • Performance-driven compensation, bonus programs, equity ownership, and 401(k) matching.
  • 100% paid health insurance for employees, with 90% coverage for dependents.
  • Access for eligible US employees to invest in a private employee fund that provides exposure to Robinhood Ventures funds.
  • Access to AI tools and continuous AI skill-building for every employee.
  • Flexible lifestyle spending account for wellness, learning, and more.
  • Employer-paid life and disability insurance, fertility benefits, and mental health benefits.
  • Company holidays, paid time off, sick time, parental leave, and more.
  • Catered meals, events, and comfortable workspaces.
