About The Position

The Technical Program Manager will partner with product and engineering teams to support the development and execution of the portfolio roadmap. This role involves planning, coordinating, and supporting the day-to-day execution of assigned programs and initiatives. The Technical Program Manager will lead and facilitate large program planning activities to align objectives, timelines, and deliverables across initiatives. Key responsibilities include tracking, monitoring, and reporting program progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes across multiple stakeholders, ensuring program execution aligns with enterprise and sector program management standards. The role also involves defining requirements, managing schedules, identifying risks, and communicating status and recommendations, as well as facilitating regular reviews with leadership to assess program progress and validate outcomes. Support for engineering rigor includes ensuring delivery aligns with agreed acceptance criteria and definitions of done. The Technical Program Manager will identify and resolve impediments, escalating as appropriate, and apply facilitation and dependency management techniques to drive cross-program and cross-team coordination. Maintaining visibility into interdependencies and managing escalations to support the delivery of business value, along with identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and supporting change initiatives, are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Program Management, Process Management, or Software Delivery.
  • Experience delivering complex technical programs within cloud or software engineering environments.
  • Strong understanding of agile delivery practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile frameworks.
  • Experience working in organizations that use agile methodologies for software delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate delivery across matrixed teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non technical audiences.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and managing priorities in complex delivery environments.
  • Ability to manage risk, dependencies, and delivery timelines across multiple initiatives.
  • Technical Domain Knowledge (Hands On Coding Not Required)
  • Sufficient technical depth to facilitate architecture and system discussions, reviews, and go live activities, including experience in one or more of the following: Major public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), Vulnerability management and remediation, Application security, Automation and CI/CD tools and practices, Public cloud security practices and services.

  • One or more relevant certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, Product Owner, Agile Coach) preferred.
