About The Position

LVT is hiring a Technical Program Manager to own delivery of new features for deployed hardware models and next-generation models in development. The role runs programs end to end—from scope and schedule through cross-team dependencies, risk management, and release—across firmware, hardware, backend software, and go-to-market. The TPM provides clear stakeholder communication and execution visibility, while prioritizing work around features customers value. This is an in-person role at LVT’s office in American Fork, Utah. The company describes itself as flexible-first. Occasional travel, approximately 5–15%, may be required to visit facilities or partners. The position is intended for a TPM ready to own programs and improve team operations.

Requirements

  • Experience running programs end to end with minimal supervision and delivering features or products on time and on scope.
  • Technical understanding sufficient to identify risks in program systems and challenge estimates.
  • Concise written and verbal communication, audience awareness, and early communication of bad news.
  • Ability to prioritize and decline work that does not support the plan while explaining tradeoffs.
  • Ability to build trust across Product, Software, Firmware, and Hardware and keep teams aligned to a shared plan.
  • Sound judgment about which risks to resolve independently and which to escalate, with a proposed path forward.
  • Likely 3–6 years of experience in technical program management or a related role.
  • Fluency with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must pass a drug screening and background check upon employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hardware, edge, and cloud products, including validation, manufacturing, or supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Drive scope, schedule, dependencies, and risk for new features on existing hardware models from intake through field release.
  • Align feature timelines with hardware milestones across prototyping, validation, and production so software and hardware are delivered together.
  • Work with firmware, hardware, and backend software engineers to remove blockers and escalate risks requiring a leadership decision.
  • Protect the critical path by declining or deferring work that does not serve the plan and making tradeoffs visible to decision-makers.
  • Communicate status, risks, and needed decisions to stakeholders in a clear and audience-appropriate manner.
  • Maintain roadmaps, dashboards, and status reporting in Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
  • Replan programs when schedules slip and bring options and recommendations to escalation discussions.
  • Use working knowledge of LVT’s hardware, firmware, and cloud architecture to assess estimates and plans.
  • Improve program templates, status reporting, and ceremonies; onboard new TPMs; and contribute to TPM candidate interviews.
