About The Position

Bitovi is hiring a Technical Product Owner to lead product and delivery work across client technology projects. The role works directly with clients, stakeholders, and technical delivery teams to define and prioritize roadmaps, manage delivery processes, and help teams deliver high-quality software products. The Technical Product Owner consults with clients regularly, communicates project progress, and provides product and delivery-process leadership. The role also includes travel averaging 3–5 days each quarter, scheduled with consideration for the employee’s schedule, and supported time to present at conferences, provide training, run meetups or local groups, and create content.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related technology experience.
• At least 3 years of technology product, project, and/or program management experience; experience across multiple of these disciplines is strongly preferred.
• A BA/BS degree or related experience.
• Proven ability to lead or guide software and Agentic AI projects at multi-team scale with executive-level stakeholders.
• Experience working with platform partners to jointly deliver solutions.
• Track record of creating, communicating, and managing detailed program or project plans across multiple stakeholders and partners.
• Ability to analyze processes, identify pain points, and deliver operational efficiencies.
• Experience leading product discovery, planning, and the delivery of technical product value.
• Ability to break mockups and wireframes into actionable stories.
• Ability to lead team estimation processes while managing dependencies, resource capacity, and schedules.
• Interest in and experience working directly with clients and joining new projects regularly.
• Excellent oral and written communication and strong interpersonal, negotiation, decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with matrix working relationships and Agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
• Experience and/or certification as an Agile product owner and scrum master.

Responsibilities

• Participate in roadmap planning and align product initiatives with business objectives and strategies.
• Apply Bitovi’s Agile program management approach to create accurate, actionable plans at scale.
• Provide business and technical expertise to feature teams through design, coding, testing, and implementation phases.
• Develop technical requirements from business requirements, prioritize them, and break them into workable items and user stories.
• Manage and appropriately escalate risks, issues, and changes.
• Manage and refine the product backlog, assemble sprints, and perform release planning.
• Participate in release processes as the product expert and surface potential issues before release.
• Ensure roadmaps and product backlogs are visible, transparent, and clear to brand partners.
• Consult and meet regularly with clients to understand their needs and communicate project progress.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical delivery teams, providing product and/or delivery-process leadership.
• Present at conferences, provide training, plan and run meetups or local groups, and create content in areas of expertise.
