About The Position

Bitovi is seeking a Technical Product Owner to lead product and delivery processes for software and Agentic AI projects. The role involves working directly with clients, stakeholders, and technical delivery teams to define and prioritize technical roadmaps, guide product discovery, and help teams deliver quality software. The position combines product ownership, project or program management, client consulting, and Agile delivery leadership. The Technical Product Owner will consult with clients regularly, align product initiatives with business objectives, create actionable plans at scale, translate business requirements into technical requirements and user stories, manage product backlogs and release planning, and surface risks and issues. The role is fully remote, with flexible hours and travel averaging three to five days each quarter. The employee will also have supported time to present at conferences, provide training, run meetups, and create content.

Requirements

At least 5 years of related technology experience.
At least 3 years of experience in technology product, project, and/or program management; experience across multiple disciplines is strongly preferred.
A BA/BS degree or related experience.
Proven ability to lead or guide software and Agentic AI projects at a multi-team scale with executive-level stakeholders.
Experience working with platform partners to jointly deliver solutions.
A track record of creating, communicating, and managing detailed program or project plans spanning multiple stakeholders and partners.
Skill in analyzing processes and identifying pain points to deliver operational efficiencies.
Experience leading product discovery, planning, and the delivery of technical product value.
Ability to break down mockups and wireframes into actionable stories.
Ability to lead estimation processes while managing dependencies, resource capacity, and schedules.
Interest and experience working directly with clients and joining new projects regularly.
Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with matrix working relationships and Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
Experience and/or certification as an Agile product owner and scrum master.

Responsibilities

Consult with clients regularly to understand their needs and update them on project progress.
Provide product and/or delivery process leadership in collaboration with stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
Participate in roadmap planning and align product initiatives with business objectives and strategies.
Apply Bitovi’s Agile program management approach to produce accurate, actionable plans at scale.
Provide business and technical expertise to feature teams throughout design, coding, testing, and implementation.
Develop technical requirements from business requirements, prioritize them, and break them down into workable tasks and user stories.
Manage and appropriately escalate risks, issues, and changes.
Manage and refine the product backlog, assemble sprints, and perform release planning.
Participate in the release process as the product expert and surface potential issues before release.
Ensure roadmaps and product backlogs are visible, transparent, and clear to brand partners.
Present at conferences, provide training, plan and run meetups or local groups, and create content in areas of expertise.
