About The Position

SwitchThink Solutions is seeking a Technical Product Manager to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of highly technical enterprise cloud hosting and managed services products. The role supports the company’s business objectives while staying connected to customer feedback, technical teams, and industry developments. The Product Manager defines product strategy and roadmaps, builds alignment across cross-functional teams, and guides delivery of value to clients. This position leads product and market analysis, roadmap development and communication, and product lifecycle activities, including implementation, launch, sustainment, and customer adoption. It translates customer needs and technology directions into features and services, helps ensure regulatory and data security compliance, and serves as a bridge between business and technical teams. As product owner in an agile team, the role documents user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritizes the backlog, and validates products against customer feedback and stated metrics. The position is hybrid and located in Phoenix, Arizona. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 4 years of experience in cloud hosting and/or managed services B2B product management.
At least 4 years in a technical or IT product management and/or managed services position with a provider of cloud, datacenter, utility, or critical environment services.
At least 2 years of strategic analysis experience related to system implementation in a B2B environment.
At least 2 years of experience working with cross-functional teams.
Excellent product management skills.
Demonstrated combination of technical aptitude and high emotional intelligence.
Experience with Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
Expert knowledge of data center processes and technology.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills appropriate for all organizational levels and clients.
Product Management (PM) Certification or equivalent, or ability to obtain it upon hire.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or ability to obtain it upon hire.
AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud certification, or ability to obtain one upon hire.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, and MS Teams.
At least 1 year of financial institution experience, such as with a credit union or bank.

Responsibilities

Analyze, create, manage, and communicate product roadmaps aligned with business objectives, supported by business cases, market and client research, relevant data, and competitive gap analysis.
Monitor channel performance and recommend improvements and new product offerings.
Lead internal stakeholders—including engineering, design, information security, sales, and marketing—and external vendor partners in determining implementation, launch, sustainment, and other product lifecycle activities.
Lead programs that support customer adoption of hosted products and services.
Work with internal stakeholders to monitor and address product and client challenges.
Translate customer needs and technology directions into new features and services.
Ensure products comply with applicable financial regulations and data security standards.
Research and follow technical industry trends and collaborate with internal technical teams to support effective delivery of product requirements.
Bridge technical and business teams to ensure technical solutions align with customer and business outcomes.
Serve as product owner in an agile team by documenting user stories, acceptance criteria, and product capabilities.
Deliver a prioritized product backlog aligned with sprint goals and KPIs.
Gather customer feedback to validate product performance against stated metrics.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
