About The Position
Wipro Limited is hiring a Technical Lead L1 to design, develop, implement, and maintain mission-critical enterprise Java applications. The role focuses on leading development of application components using Spring Boot and implementing microservices and RESTful APIs. The work location is Atlanta, Georgia, in a hybrid arrangement. The role requires Java and Spring development experience, familiarity with the current Spring platform, and work following an industry-recognized software development life cycle. The successful candidate will bring strong technical, logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, understand business logic beyond coding, and have experience working in an Agile environment. JAX-RS is a mandatory skill; Version 1 experience is a plus. The expected compensation range is $60,000 to $135,000. Final compensation depends on factors including geographic location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. The role is eligible for Wipro's standard benefits, including medical and dental benefit options, disability insurance, paid time off (including sick leave), and other paid and unpaid leave options. Employment in some roles may be conditioned on successful completion of a post-offer drug screening, subject to applicable state law.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience.
- At least 3 years implementing Java/Spring Boot microservices.
- Experience with Java 7/8, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Mandatory skill: JAX-RS (Java API for RESTful Web Services).
- Experience with Spring Integration, Spring Data, Swagger, Tomcat 8, Maven, Jenkins, SVN, Git, Mountebank, and Postman/Newman.
- Good understanding of web application security.
- Excellent technical, logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to grasp business logic beyond coding.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
