About The Position

The Technical Implementation Specialist (II) at NCR Voyix Corporation is responsible for deploying and integrating complex software and hardware solutions for clients. The role combines technical expertise, project management, and customer service to support seamless implementations and optimal system performance. The specialist leads installation, configuration, and testing on-site and remotely; translates client business requirements into technical solutions; and reviews systems and architectures to ensure proposed solutions meet client needs and integrate with existing infrastructure. The role also includes troubleshooting, training clients and internal teams, maintaining implementation documentation, and providing advanced support during the post-implementation warranty period. The specialist serves as a subject matter expert for designated NCR Voyix products and technologies, keeps current with product updates and industry trends, manages multiple projects to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, and communicates project status and concerns to clients and internal stakeholders. Travel may be required for on-site implementations and training.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2–4 years of experience in the role or a related field.
Proven experience with complex software and hardware installations, configurations, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, firewalls, and VPNs.
Knowledge of operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux.
Knowledge of database technologies, including SQL Server and Oracle.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Ability to travel as required for on-site client implementations and training.

Nice To Haves

Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation and customization.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute technical implementation of NCR Voyix software and hardware products, including installation, configuration, and testing, both on-site and remotely.
Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
Conduct system analysis, design, and architecture reviews to ensure solutions meet client needs and integrate with existing infrastructure.
Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to identify and resolve technical issues during implementation.
Develop and deliver technical training to clients and internal teams on NCR Voyix products and their functionalities.
Create and maintain implementation documentation, including configuration guides, technical specifications, and post-implementation reports.
Provide advanced technical support and guidance to clients during the post-implementation warranty period.
Act as a subject matter expert for specific NCR Voyix products and technologies, staying current with product updates and industry trends.
Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing concerns.
