About The Position

The Implementation Specialist II leads complex software implementation projects for new and existing customers, serving as the primary implementation consultant throughout onboarding, configuration, training, adoption, and customer readiness. The role manages multiple concurrent projects, operates independently, serves as a subject matter expert on assigned products, mentors junior team members, and collaborates across teams to deliver a strong customer experience. The position is remote in the USA and may require up to 90% travel for onsite implementations, customer meetings, or company events.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
3–5 years of software implementation, onboarding, project management, training, or related experience.
Experience managing multiple customer-facing projects simultaneously.
Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to travel up to 90% for onsite implementations, customer meetings, or company events, as required.

Nice To Haves

Associate or bachelor's degree.
Experience mentoring or coaching team members.

Responsibilities

Lead medium- to large-scale implementation projects from kickoff through go-live and customer handoff.
Manage multiple concurrent implementation projects while maintaining quality and timeline commitments.
Serve as the primary customer advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Configure software solutions based on customer requirements and business objectives.
Independently deliver virtual and onsite training programs.
Identify implementation risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Partner with Support, Product, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to resolve issues.
Monitor project scope, milestones, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
Build and maintain customer relationships that drive adoption and satisfaction.
Mentor and support Implementation Specialist I team members.
Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned products and implementation processes.
Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and team development initiatives.
