About The Position

As a Senior Technical Implementation Specialist at NCR VOYIX, you will lead the successful deployment and integration of complex software and hardware solutions for enterprise clients, ensuring high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction. The position is based in Irving, Texas, or Atlanta, Georgia, and may require travel to client sites up to 50% of the time. You will work with project managers, sales teams, and clients to gather requirements and plan implementations; conduct technical discovery; install, configure, test, and troubleshoot solutions; provide implementation support; and deliver technical training. You will also maintain technical documentation, serve as a product and services subject matter expert, mentor junior specialists, support pre-sales activities, and ensure implementations follow company standards, best practices, and security policies. Additional duties and projects consistent with the role may be assigned. Offers of employment are conditional upon passing applicable screening criteria.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 4 years of experience in this role or a related field.
Proven expertise deploying and configuring complex enterprise software applications.
Strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls, and database technologies such as SQL Server and Oracle.
Experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel to client sites as required, up to 50%.

Nice To Haves

Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute technical implementations, including software installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting at client sites.
Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop implementation plans.
Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand client infrastructure and integrate NCR VOYIX solutions.
Provide expert-level technical support during implementation, resolving complex issues and escalating as needed.
Develop and deliver technical training for clients and internal teams on solution functionality and administration.
Create and maintain implementation guides, configuration manuals, troubleshooting procedures, and other technical documentation.
Serve as a subject matter expert on NCR VOYIX products and services and stay current with releases and technologies.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior implementation specialists.
Participate in pre-sales activities, including technical presentations and demonstrations for prospective clients.
Ensure implementations adhere to NCR VOYIX standards, best practices, and security policies.
