About The Position

Deploy is seeking a cross-functional Content Writer to join its Marketing Team. The role creates content for platforms including the Deploy Engineering blog, mailing lists, white papers, op-eds, decks, and web copy. The writer manages multiple projects and collaborates with teams across the company, including the design team in India. The successful candidate is a detail-oriented storyteller who can meet tight deadlines, understand the product deeply, and use data-driven insights to improve content. Preference is given to candidates with a strong writing portfolio and demonstrated technical understanding.

Deploy describes itself as an intelligence infrastructure platform providing access to open-source and proprietary AI models. It has more than 250 employees across offices in San Francisco, Seattle, New York, and Delhi. The position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to a fast-growing AI startup.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 0–2 years of work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an analytical mindset.
• Experience writing technical content; computer science backgrounds are preferred.
• Familiarity with keyword placement and SEO.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals.
• Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
• Driven to excel and eager to learn and contribute.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across sales, business development, design, and engineering teams in different offices to create appropriate content.
• Develop and create content for platforms including the Deploy Engineering blog, mailing lists, decks, white papers, and web copy.
• Organize and write supporting documents for products.
• Research markets and industries to compare and create innovative, original content.
• Determine end users’ needs for technical documentation.
• Standardize content across platforms and media.
• Maintain awareness of industry best practices for data maintenance handling as it relates to the role.
• Follow policies, guidelines, and procedures for protecting information assets.
• Report actual or suspected security and policy violations or breaches to an appropriate authority.
