About The Position

Copia is seeking a Technical Content Marketer to create compelling, credible, and multimedia content for the OT cybersecurity and industrial automation community. This role involves working closely with the Senior Product Marketing Manager to develop authentic and useful content for the OT community. The ideal candidate will understand technical concepts, build trust with a technical audience, and transform product and industry knowledge into various marketing assets such as articles, videos, demos, and webinars. While extensive experience isn't required, experience in OT cybersecurity, OT system integration, controls engineering, industrial automation, or a similar technical field is essential. Initial projects may include auditing website copy, suggesting improvements, and implementing changes, followed by recording product demos, leading deminars, writing customer case studies, and creating how-to content. The position is based in New York City, with consideration for exceptional remote candidates.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of meaningful experience or deep exposure in OT cybersecurity, industrial automation, controls engineering, manufacturing systems, PLCs, SCADA, or related technical environments.
  • 0-3 years of experience in marketing, content, product marketing, technical marketing, or a related creative role.
  • Strong work ethic, high learning velocity, and the ambition to grow into a trusted technical marketing voice.
  • Ability to break down and effectively explain complex topics in OT security to both technical and non-technical professionals.
  • Strong writing ability, particularly for technical short-form copy and product-oriented content.
  • Motivation to use new AI tools and workflows as they emerge.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an internal voice-of-the-customer to help Marketing create valuable OT content and authentically connect with the OT community.
  • Translate technical ideas into clear, useful content across various formats including white papers, videos, webinars, demo content, blogs, visual assets, and other campaign materials.
  • Produce and edit multimedia content from webinars, events, customer conversations, product launches, and interviews with internal subject matter experts.
  • Create and host webinars for customers, covering topics like in-depth product demonstrations, deep-dives, feature spotlights, technical guides, and how-to's.
  • Collaborate with product marketing to shape thought leadership angles, product messaging, technical narratives, and ensure editorial quality.
  • Work with sales, marketing, product, and technical experts to identify compelling stories.
  • Maintain a high standard for accuracy, clarity, visual polish, and technical credibility.
  • Utilize AI tools extensively and thoughtfully throughout the content creation process, including research, outlining, drafting, editing, video production, repurposing, and quality assurance.
