About The Position

Tether is seeking a builder-centric Technical Content Creator to demonstrate the practical capabilities of its peer-to-peer stack, including the Pear platform and Bare runtime. The role is intended for an engineer or highly technical creator who can bridge low-level infrastructure, cryptography, and functional applications. It is not a social media marketing or on-camera influencer role; it calls for someone who can write code, launch peer-to-peer nodes, build functional applications, and produce clear, polished screen-share demonstrations. The creator will develop an ongoing series of practical, visual prototypes that show how decentralized, peer-to-peer infrastructure works. This includes building applications and infrastructure setups, explaining code and protocols through developer-oriented content, and demonstrating how peers discover and synchronize with each other. The role works with protocol and product engineering teams and supports developer adoption through technical influencers, advocates, and content creators. The position is remote and described as working in a global, distributed environment.

Requirements

  • 3 to 6+ years of experience in a technical role such as technical content creation, solutions engineering, or backend/systems development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages used across the ecosystem, such as NodeJS and C/C++, sufficient to work confidently with peer-to-peer networking and runtime internals.
  • Solid understanding of peer-to-peer networking, distributed systems, hypercore/append-only-log-style data structures, and decentralized application architecture.
  • Experience recording and editing polished technical screen shares, terminal recordings, or video tutorials, using tools such as Loom, Camtasia, or Screenflow.
  • Ability to understand complex P2P protocols or runtimes and identify demonstrations or sample projects that will motivate developers and infrastructure operators to build.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote, distributed environment across global time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Independently build functional peer-to-peer applications and infrastructure setups using the Pear platform and Bare runtime, with minimal engineering support.
  • Record clear, engaging, high-quality screen-share walkthroughs and video demonstrations explaining how builds work, how peers discover and synchronize, and the value the systems provide.
  • Translate protocol updates, cryptographic primitives, and technical documentation into visual, accessible developer content, including code-along videos, step-by-step guides, and interactive repositories.
  • Collaborate with P2P protocol and product engineering teams to stay informed about upcoming Pear and Bare features.
  • Rapidly prototype application concepts, such as peer-to-peer chat, file synchronization, and data replication, to demonstrate how developers can build resilient serverless products with the ecosystem.
  • Work with technical influencers, developer advocates, and content creators to support ecosystem adoption; provide technical assets, co-create code-along challenges, and supply demos and prototypes for developer onboarding.
