About The Position

Forbes Health is seeking a remote content creator with expertise in peptides, longevity, supplements and emerging wellness science. The role combines writing, developing science-based ratings and testing protocols, and producing video content. The creator will own the strategy, testing, ideation and execution of Forbes Health ranking and data products covering longevity and wellness products, and will develop reviews and best-of coverage grounded in evidence, testing and transparent methodologies.

The position involves producing editorial and social content, designing defensible methodologies to rate and rank wellness products, and working with product testing, data and research teams to ensure high-quality scientific support. The creator will serve as an internal and external subject-matter expert, anticipate useful coverage based on industry knowledge, and coordinate with stakeholders on priorities and workflows. This is a full-time remote position.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of the wellness and supplements industries, including major providers, compounds, controversies and online communities.
• Demonstrated passion for longevity products and emerging wellness industries, and the ability to explain their significance to readers and communities.
• Experience testing products or building testing protocols.
• Ability to distinguish beliefs from evidence and translate that understanding into journalism.
• Meaningful, engaged social presence in the peptide, TRT, HRT or longevity space, with an understanding of discussion beyond traditional health media.
• Ability to manage many priorities on deadline and pivot when priorities change.
• Comfort challenging provider claims, questioning evidence behind popular interventions, and changing conclusions when evidence changes.
• Ability to distinguish research, claims and personal experience, and to explain and defend recommendations to internal and external audiences.
• Ability to work well remotely.
• Writing experience and experience creating videos for a health-based audience.
• Experience testing health and wellness products and/or designing and overseeing product-testing protocols, including laboratory testing where appropriate.
• Firsthand knowledge of how consumers navigate longevity products and services, from discovery and onboarding through testing, follow-up, refills and billing.

Responsibilities

• Pitch and create first-person stories, reviews, product rankings, videos, podcasts and newsletters to inform readers about wellness products.
• Follow industry research, providers and communities, and proactively identify and pitch useful articles, videos and social posts.
• Develop defensible methodologies for rating and ranking wellness products, including peptides, TRT, HRT and hair loss supplements.
• Define research and data-collection requirements, including product testing, surveys, consumer research, scenario modeling and proprietary data initiatives.
• Partner with product testing, data and research teams to ensure methodologies are supported by high-quality scientific evidence.
• Work with stakeholders to determine content priorities.
• Create social video content that demonstrates and builds on subject-matter expertise.
• Serve as an internal and external expert on longevity and wellness topics.
• Use workflow processes to keep stakeholders informed about projects and priorities.
