About The Position

SBA Home North Carolina is the first U.S. production facility of SBA Group, a furniture manufacturer from Lithuania. The factory is expected to begin operations in late 2025 and will employ more than 250 professionals. It will be a highly robotic and automated facility producing furniture for homes across the United States. The Technical Clerk supports the warehouse storeroom by managing spare-parts inventory, stocking and reordering parts, and preparing reports. The role uses SAP and internal ERP and CMMS systems, includes clerical computer work, and requires regular visits to the storeroom and factory floor. The position also involves handling parts and materials weighing up to 30 pounds.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a maintenance environment.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and maintenance software such as SAP or similar.
Understanding of mechanical and electrical components.
Organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to lift and handle parts and materials weighing up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate spare-parts inventory records using the factory’s ERP and CMMS systems, including SAP and internal systems.
Receive, label, and store incoming spare parts in designated locations.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate reordering.
Conduct periodic physical inventory checks and reconciliations.
Assist in compiling reports on maintenance performance and spare-parts usage.
Enter data into maintenance and inventory systems with high accuracy.
File and organize technical documents, manuals, and maintenance logs.
Communicate with suppliers and internal departments about part availability and delivery timelines.
Support the Planning Technician in preparing documentation for audits and compliance checks.
