Aetna Medicare Product Tools & Technology is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join their team. This role involves building internal Medicare-related applications that enable business users to complete crucial business processes for Aetna. The Business Analyst is responsible for problem-solving, taking ambiguous and complex business problems, and using research and business assessment capabilities to define the problem, drive innovative ideas, define requirements, and recommend actionable next steps. The team is looking for a self-driven individual with strong business analysis skills to drive technology solutions aligned with Aetna Medicare’s business strategies. The Business Analyst will consult with business and technical personnel to elicit business, functional, and non-functional requirements for specified applications. They will analyze the feasibility of and develop requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems. This role also involves tracking and fully documenting changes for business and functional specifications according to department change control processes. Additionally, the Business Analyst will design screen mockups for requirements documentation to assist development teams in building screens and changing existing system screens. This position will be a great addition to a talented team consisting of UI/UX Developers, Database Engineers, Business Analysts, Quality Analysts, and others. The position can work remotely anywhere in the US if approved, with east coast hours preferred.
