About The Position

Under general supervision, the Technical Business Analyst will serve as the liaison between the business community, the technical development and operations teams.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience working with technology in supporting a business environment.
  • Ability to think analytically, solve problems to complex business processes, and document results.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner across functional and technical departments.
  • Work on multiple tasks at any one time while maintaining high quality standards.
  • The candidate must be process-oriented with sound judgment, attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through including the flexibility to perform in an ever-changing work environment.
  • The candidate must be energetic, driven and committed to project success while working under tight time constraints and pressure.
  • Develop user stories, workflows, use case diagrams, functional requirement documentations, and other analysis-type documentation.
  • Development of test scenarios and test cases, and testing activities necessary to assess the quality and completion of system implementations
  • A strong understanding of SQL, data mapping, and Electronic Data Interface (EDI).
  • MSSQL and MSTFS (Team Foundation Software)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or related field, preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Leads requirements analysis, validation and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable actionable.
  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or requirements workshops.
  • Communicates (verbal and written) with business units that rely on that information to define system requirements or organizational processes.
  • Collect and analyze the project's business requirements and transfer the same knowledge to the development team.
  • Effectively communicate relevant information to management.
  • Review and/or prepare system documentation and specifications in accordance with methodology.
  • Collaborates with internal teams.
  • Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
  • Facilitates requirements prioritization based on business value.
  • Manages requirements traceability information and track requirements status throughout the project.
  • Manages changes to requirements through effective use of change control processes and tools
  • Balances technology and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technology and business experts.
  • Complete all required training applicable to this position
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position
  • Other duties, as assigned
