About The Position

The Technical Business Analyst will support migration of an existing CATS CMS application to a target environment. The role requires business analysis and legacy application analysis, along with Oracle database analysis, SQL, and technical documentation skills. The analyst will work with development and testing teams throughout discovery, migration, development, testing, validation, and implementation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience.
• Strong technical business analysis experience.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle databases and SQL.
• Experience analyzing legacy applications and documenting business functionality.
• Strong understanding of data models, application workflows, and business rules.
• Experience with Jira, Agile methodology, user stories, and sprint management.
• Excellent technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting legacy COBOL and PowerBuilder applications.
• Experience with CMS application migration or modernization projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing application functionality, workflows, business rules, and system behavior.
• Understand and document application data models and Oracle database structures.
• Write SQL queries to analyze, validate, and trace data and business rules.
• Translate business and technical requirements into user stories and functional documentation.
• Work with development and testing teams throughout discovery, migration, development, testing, validation, and implementation.
• Manage requirements, backlogs, and sprint activities using Jira and Agile methodologies.
